Welcome to SDate, your hiking companion for discovering and documenting nature. By using our app, you agree to these Terms of Service.

SDate provides AI-powered species identification, personal collection management, trail memory documentation, and in-app purchase features to enhance your outdoor adventures.

2. No Account Required

SDate is designed for seamless access without account registration. All your data is stored locally on your device.

• No email or personal identification required
• All collections and memories stored on your device
• You are responsible for device security and backups
• Must be at least 13 years old to use the app

3. App Features

AI Species Scanner: Identify plants and animals using AI technology. Results are for informational purposes only and may not be 100% accurate.

Species Collection: Organize discovered species into personal collections with search and sorting capabilities.

Trail Memories: Document hiking adventures with photos, locations, and personal notes.

Hiking Beans: Virtual currency for unlocking premium features like saving identifications and memories.

4. In-App Purchases

• Hiking Beans are virtual currency with no real-world value
• All purchases processed through Apple App Store
• Purchases are final and non-refundable except as required by law
• Beans stored locally may be lost if device is reset or app deleted
• We cannot restore lost Beans in such circumstances

5. User Conduct

You agree to:

• Use the app responsibly and legally
• Respect wildlife and maintain safe distances when photographing
• Follow Leave No Trace principles
• Not store illegal or harmful content
• Own all rights to content you create

6. Intellectual Property

SDate and all related trademarks, designs, and AI technology are owned by SDate. You receive a limited license to use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes.

You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from the app.

7. Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES.

• AI identification may contain errors
• Not professional botanical or zoological advice
• We are not responsible for outdoor safety
• Not liable for data loss from device failure
• No liability for indirect or consequential damages

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SDATE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of California. Disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration on an individual basis.
